Larry R. Browne,
AIA
For twenty eight years, Mr.
Browne has been involved in a variety of architectural and
planning work ranging from Federally funded housing programs,
industrial, institutional, food service, commercial and
recreational facilities.
Since
founding Browne Group Architects in 1978, Mr. Browne has
worked extensively with public funded projects. Being involved
from the grant application stages through the programming,
design and construction stages has given him a thorough
understanding of the needs and constraints placed on clients
developing projects with these types of funds. In addition,
Mr. Browne has been extensively involved in building code
research and implementation of the accessibility requirements
of the American Disabilities Act for the past few
years.
The balance
of his experience with the combination of building codes,
federal requirements and guidelines and an extensive
construction and inspection background has enhanced his
appreciation of the complexity of the constraints that are
place on the budget, programming, design, and construction
projects.
Mr. Browne
holds a Masters Degree in Architecture and is a registered
architect in Ohio, Michigan, West Virginia, Indiana, Illinois,
Kentucky, Tennessee and Pennsylvania.
Mr. Browne is
a NCARB Certificate Holder
and a Certified Building Inspector in the state of
Ohio.
Bruce H. Kratochvil
Mr. Kratochvil has provided architectural
design and production services for multi-family housing,
institutional health care, restaurant, commercial and retail
projects. His extensive background and experiences in
architectural design bring a strong and creative emphasis to
program interpretation. His understanding of construction
detail and construction methods brings expertise to the
project for creative design solutions to difficult issues.
This expertise complements he coxperience in project team
management for construction documents and control of the
construction document process. This broad in-depth knowledge
of architecture and construction documents enables the control
of cost during design and the construction processes. Special
expertise includes extensive knowledge of cost estimating,
code research, ADA and 504 regulations required for the
implementation and construction detailing for multi-family and
commercial properties.
Mr. Kratochvil holds a Bachelor of Science in
Industrial Design from The Ohio State University - 1984, and is
certified in Computer Aided Design and Drafting Studies -
1993.

Larry S.
Fink, ASLA
Mr. Fink has provided
professional land planning, design and project management
services on projects ranging from residential garden design to
large scale park planning. He brings to a project expertise in
project programming, grant preparation, comprehensive land
planning, design, and project management. His background
includes the planning and design of hospitals and health care
related facilities where he was responsible for the
preparation of feasibility studies, land evaluation reports,
land use plans, master planning, design, preparation of site
development drawings, bidding, specifications, cost control
and construction administration. He has extensive background
in the planning and development of large scale park districts
where the responsibilities included direction, coordinating,
and managing planning and development activities. More
specific areas of work included development and implementation
of a comprehensive district wide land acquisition plan,
development plans, resource management plans, annual budget
and monitoring of state wide legislative issues. Complementing
his professional experience is a strong background in the
construction and construction management industry. As a
journeyman carpenter he worked in residential development,
commercial development, scheduling, cost estimation, work
force supervision and acquired working knowledge of
construction materials and techniques. As president of the
affiliated Environmental Planning Associates, he provides
services in planning, design and project management with
emphasis on analyzing and addressing environmental issues. He
provides assistance to private interests, corporations, public
agencies and non profit organizations by identifying sources
of project finding and assisting in grant preparation.
Maintaining a close professional relationship with various
local, state, and federal regulatory agencies: Ohio EPA, U.S.
Army Corps of Engineers, Ohio Department of Natural Resources,
and U.S. Fish and Wildlife, he has been successful in
assisting clients in identifying and resolving environmental
regulatory requirements.
Mr. Fink holds a Bachelor of
Science in Landscape Architecture from The Ohio State
University - 1978, and is a Registered
Architect: Landscape Architect Ohio #477 CLARB Registration
