construction documents for this prototype tenant finish
project in this Chicago, Illinois suburb. The project
involved a complete remodel of this unoccupied 7,500
s.f. tenant space in a shopping center location into a
new Max & Erma's store. A significant storefront
addition and renovation differentiate Max & Erma's
store from adjacent tenants. Opened in the fall of 1993.

The Browne Group provided design
and construction documents services for the completion
of this new 7,200 s.f. prototype store project. The
building's design is a collage of several architectural
styles, each reminiscent of a part of the
original Max & Erma's store in Columbus, Ohio. The
building's exterior uses bright colors and varied
materials for a commanding site presence. This new
prototype restaurant opened in the fall of
1993.

and construction documents services for this project in
"The Flats" entertainment district in Cleveland, Ohio. The
project involved the complete remodeling of an existing
7,200 s.f. restaurant into a new
Max & Erma's store. The design incorporates the Max
& Erma's prototype design in a tenant finish space,
and includes a Patio Dining Terrace overlooking the
Cuyahoga River. This restaurant opened in the summer of
1993

Chicken Restaurant Kingsdale Center Columbus,

The Browne Group Architects
provided complete architectural services for this 3,800
s.f. tenant finish restaurant project in suburban
Columbus. The restaurant's feature products, rotisserie
marinated chicken and freshly prepared side dishes, are
visible to the customer in a 'deli-like' entry and
queuing area. The dining area is highlighted by
contemporary colors and pickled wood washed fixtures.
With a seating capacity of 88, this is the largest
Boston Chicken store built to date. Opened in January
1993 |

this tenant finish restaurant project in
downtown Columbus, and involved reconfiguring the
prototype store design to accommodate the new location.

The Browne Group Architects
provided design, construction documents, and
construction observation services for this
new store. This project involved the remodeling of an
existing 7000 s.f. restaurant into a new Max &
Erma's store in this suburban Detroit city. The design
uses the unusual angeled geometry of the existing space
to compliment the eclectic Max & Erma's decor.
Opened in August, 1992.

Pi's Express Restaurant Delaware, Ohio |
The Browne Group provided design
and construction documents services for the completion
of this 1300 s.f. tenant finish
restaurant project. The restaurant features views of the
Chinese wok cooking area, and is decorated
with abstracted Chinese ornamentation
combined with a contemporary color scheme. Opened in
July, 1992.

Domino's Pizza Restaurant Prototype
Parkersburg, W. Va. |
BGA completed construction drawings
for this 1600 sq. ft. prototype in joint venture with
J.L. Iams, Architect and for a
local franchise owner. The restaurant building is one of
the first Domino's units to include a dining area. The
building features a brick exterior and a steeply pitched
standing seam metal roof. Opened in November,
1991

& Erma's- Columbus City Center Columbus,

This project involved a major
remodeling of a 5,240 s.f. space previously occupied by
a nite club and cafe in the Columbus City Center
shopping mall. The project included a complete
remodeling of the space to incorporate Max & Erma's
design requirements. New interior mall storefronts and
signage designs were also developed in conjunction with
this project. Opened in November, 1991. |

Kublai's Mongolian Barbecue

BGA provided complete architectural
services from design through construction administration
for this new stir-fry style
barbecue restaurant in a leased space strip shopping
center location. The 1420 sq. ft. restaurant features
a stir-fry grill visible to the
dining area and a customer self-service line for
customized meal combinations. Completed and opened in
August, 1991, with considerable success

A previous upscale, free-standing
restaurant of over 7,000 sq. ft. was remodeled for this
suburban Max & Erma's unit. The kitchen and support
spaces were remodeled along with all front-of-house
spaces. A new bar was designed and installed and four
dining areas were renovated. The front entrance was
completely redesigned and two facades were
remodeled. The store opened in early 1990

was completed in two phases; interior work in 1990 and
exterior work in 1991. The interior remodeling focused
on new booth and table layout and finishes in two dining
areas. A new covered, exterior entrance was added and
two facades were redesigned with new lighting,
pilasters, trim and finishes |

This new store involved the
build-out of a 6,000 sq. ft. space in a multi-use, two
story building in the center of this
suburban Detroit city. A four bay storefront with
entrance was developed to meet the design guidelines of
the building owner and city. A complete
design of the bar, dining areas, restrooms, kitchen and
all back-of-house spaces
were developed and built with the current Max &
Erma's look. Opened in the spring of 1990

For this late 1970's era store, BGA
completed drawings for remodeling all exterior facades
and front-of-house spaces
including the entry, bar, dining areas and mezzanine.
New booth and table layouts, bar screen and entry,
and interior finishes were installed. Completed in 1989,
in a similar style to the Columbus East
store.

scheme, new windows and sidewalk kiosk were designed for
the Max & Erma's flagship restaurant. Design
approval was granted by the Village Commission and the
work completed in 1989.

this freestanding building to the
new Lotus restaurant. The project was completed in
